SCANSEL Scandinavian Search & Selection is a consulting firm, specializing in increasing the profitability of our clients´ companies, through finding, evaluating and training key persons.
Our history
Scansel was founded in 1991 by two of our consultants, Tor Nygren and Tomas Holm, both having extensive previous experience in the recruitment business.
Consultants
Tor Nygren
Mr Tor Nygren is a Founder and Partner of SCANSEL, Scandinavian Search & Selection, the Finn office of Signium International. Mr. Nygren has more than 20 years of experience in Executive Search and Top Management Recruitment.
Prior to founding SCANSEL, Mr Nygren also established and was a Partner in Compass Human Resources. He has a strong reputation and well-known name in the Finnish industry.
Mr Nygren has a Master of Arts in Psychology from the Åbo Akademi University in Turku, Finland.
Tomas Holm
Mr. Tomas Holm, is a Partner and founder of SCANSEL, Scandinavian Search & Selection, the Finn office of Signium International. He graduated from the Åbo Akademi University in Turku and holds a Master of Arts in Psychology.
Before starting his career in Executive Search, Mr Holm lived abroad and worked as a Project Director for a US based management consultant firm.
His executive search career began more than 20 years ago with a local Finnish company and in 1991, SCANSEL was founded.
His experience across many different sectors was developed during these years, with an emphasis on ICT and Pharmaceuticals.
